How to Make Baked Parmesan Cheese Crisps
I know they seem fancy, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. With one ingredient, a cheese grater and 15 minutes you can have a delicious, crispy crunchy snack or topping for your next salad. Here’s a step by step guide on how you do it!
- PREP OVEN: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
- GRATE YOUR CHEESE: You’ll need ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The key here is to do a thick grate, not a fine grate!
- DIVIDE CHEESE: Pour heaping tablespoons of Parmesan onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Gently pat down each pile of cheese into a small circle.
- BAKE: Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until golden and crisp.
- COOL AND SERVE!

Important Tools
Cheese Grater: Feel free to use any type of cheese grater—handheld, crank, or food processor. Just make sure to select a thick grate (large holes) to ensure your Parmesan cheese crisps achieve the perfect thickness and texture.

Recipe FAQs
If you can find thick grated parmesan cheese, yes you can use it. Just avoid using finely grated parmesan – it won’t bake the same way.
